Retail marketing Agency

"20.9% more shoppers and visitors passed through County Square's doors in one month compared to the same period the previous year."

ING (County Square)

Adams Creative was hired by County Square Shopping Centre in Ashford in 2008, after a £280 million extension project. County Square utilises the agency's fully integrated service including PR, event management, offline design, web design and online marketing.

The agency helped re-launch and promote the centre's extension which opened in April 2008. Our team helped to organise a spectacular launch, and press coverage was achieved in many local papers including Your Ashford and the Kentish Express. After we delivered excellent results for raising the profile and public awareness of the centre's redevelopment, we were asked to take on all the general PR and marketing to boost the footfall of ABC1 shoppers.

We've also designed a new website for County Square which not only had to be visually appealing but also search engine friendly.

Using Google Analytics to track and monitor visitor interaction, when comparing one month of the new website with the last month of the old website, there was:

  • 86% increase in visitors
  • 150% increase in pages viewed
  • 44% increase in time spent on the site

Events and entertainment at County Square led to a remarkable increase in footfall too when 20.9% more shoppers and visitors passed through County Square's doors in one month compared to the same period the previous year.
