June 2010

Integrated marketing agency, Adams Creative, will mark its 25th anniversary this September. The Kent-based agency, run by Mike Adams, will celebrate 25 years of creative marketing.

Managing director, Mike, established the business in 1984 from his back bedroom starting out as an advertising and design agency. Adams Creative has grown tremendously over the past 25 years, now offering online marketing services, web design, public relations and graphic design.

Adams Creative has an enviable client list including a b2b and b2c clients across London and the south east. In more recent years the marketing agency has been working with many local and nationwide charities, managing their marketing campaigns. The marketing agency's head office is based in Maidstone with further satellite offices in Ashford and Hastings. Adams Creative's staff include new media specialists, marketing and PR consultants and graphic designers who all have a wealth of knowledge in their disciplines. Adams Creative is also one of the handful of marketing agencies in the south east to comply to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System ensuring clients are guaranteed a professional service.

Over the past 25 years Mike and the team at Adams Creative have been recognised for the creative work the agency continues to produce. Last year saw the agency short listed for a B2B Marketing Award in the category for Best Limited Budget Campaign. The fantastic lead generation results Adams Creative produced for United Trust Bank was recognised.

"I am really proud of how far the business has come in the last 25 years," explains Mike. "I have been in the business for a quarter of a century and have been through some great times and bad times; this year we have found ourselves in exceptionally challenging times."

Mike has some wise words of wisdom for other business owners: "Businesses must remember that when times are tough, customer retention is key - keep the customers you do have because if you don't want them, someone else most certainly will." But that's not all to it as Mike explains: "Many directors and managers believe the first budget to be cut is the marketing budget - however taking a cohesive approach to marketing will show that you have the confidence to market and promote your business in more challenging times."

To celebrate 25 years in marketing Adams Creative has also revamped its website. Read story.
