Coach industry’s first tendering management website goes live
Online marketing agency Adams Creative has developed the coach industry’s first tendering website www.connections-live.co.uk. The website makes tender management faster, enabling coach companies to tender for jobs online.
It was developed together with the travel management company Connections, part of The Kings Ferry Travel Group. Connections manages the travel arrangements for a number of large organisations including the BBC, and works with coach operators around the country.
This new website will streamline operations for the Connections team and improve efficiency. Details of new jobs will be posted onto the website as soon as they come in and registered coach operators will be alerted by email of jobs suitable for them according to region and vehicle type.
“Reliability, vehicle suitability and price will all be taken into account when evaluating the tenders and awarding jobs,” says Danny Elford, commercial director for The Kings Ferry. “By co-ordinating this process online we are saving time and providing operators with up-to-the-minute information and feedback.”
Adams Creative provides a full offline and online marketing service for The Kings Ferry and its Connections division. Speaking about this latest project, managing director, Mike Adams, said: “The new Connections Live! website is a groundbreaking move towards making the coach and travel industry more efficient, bringing it in line with customer expectations.
