Adams Creative to lead online marketing for Compton & Woodhouse Ltd

Compton & Woodhouse, a leading retailer of fine jewellery and collectables, has appointed Adams Creative as it online marketing agency to increase its share of the online market.

The integrated marketing agency has been tasked with raising Compton & Woodhouse's online marketing profile and driving more traffic to the website, with the ultimate goal of increasing online sales and providing their collectors with more information on specific products of interest. Initially the team will focus on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC) and comprehensive analytics, and will look to integrate further online marketing techniques on an ongoing basis as work progresses.

Compton & Woodhouse built e-commerce facilities into its website right from the start, around four years ago. The partnership with Adams Creative represents the company’s first dedicated effort to use online marketing techniques to promote sales through its online retail offering.

Speaking about the decision, marketing director of Compton & Woodhouse, Simon Windsor said: "There is a huge marketplace for our products online and we recognised the logic behind investing in online marketing to capitalise on this potential, as up until now we have solely focused on offline promotion. Adams Creative was proactive in offering us a website and SEO audit and I was impressed with their range of skills and depth of knowledge. They recommended a detailed online strategy and were the obvious partner for us."

A top priority for the online marketing agency is setting up strong e-commerce based analytics monitoring, for real time measurement of individual marketing disciplines, site performance tracking and visitor interaction research. Findings will form the basis for recommended changes that will improve the user experience and of course ROI for the site.

Mike Adams, the managing director of Adams Creative marketing agency is confident the new media team will add real value to Compton & Woodhouse: "Collecting has a strong fan-base and there are a number of online communities and websites that could benefit Compton & Woodhouse with the right approach. Our online marketing (SEO and PPC) specialists have an eye for good opportunities and will be evaluating the progress regularly."

The Compton & Woodhouse Group Portfolio also includes sister company Diamond Discount Centre, and the recently acquired Brooks & Bentley, sellers of fine jewellery and collectables. For more information on our online marketing options contact Adams Creative.
