Adams marketing agency helps Aspire raise more money
In 2008 Adams Creative marketing agency helped Aspire, a leading spinal injury charity, promote its biggest fundraising event of the year – the Aspire Channel Swim – with early results surpassing all previous targets.
The Aspire Channel Swim sees thousands of everyday people swim the length of the English Channel (22 miles in case you’re wondering) in their local pool over 12 weeks. With Adams Creative's charity marketing agency expertise on board, Aspire set ambitious targets to increase the number of swimmers taking part and raise more money than ever before.
The agency created an engaging brand for the campaign based on the message, ‘Swim it with Dave’. This brand was carried across all marketing and event collateral, including a dedicated campaign website www.aspirechannelswim.co.uk which easily enabled participants to create their own online fundraising page through justgiving.com.
This integrated marketing agency online and offline campaign has proved very effective with £250,000 raised to date – £100,000 more than at the same time in 2007.
