Company details United Trust Bank (UTB) specialises in providing a wide range of funding facilities to property developers. UTB is a fully licensed owner-managed bank and is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Clients range from corporate developers with multi-unit schemes, to private developers converting or renovating one dwelling.
Objective Increase sales leads through an integrated campaign promoting UTB’s bridging loan services to mortgage brokers.
Strategy Adams Creative communicated with a targeted database using a marketing mix of different communication media to reinforce the message and make it easy for customers to respond. The agency developed an eye-catching visual of a bridge formed with text and used this throughout the campaign which included: a direct mailer; an email connecting potential customers directly with a specially created micro-site about bridging loans; telemarketing; and strategically placed advertising.
The result The campaign generated unprecedented success for United Trust Bank resulting in more sales appointments than every before. The design visual has come to symbolise all of the bank’s bridging activities, and the repetition of this single, strong image is building brand recognition. The email was an especially successful component of the campaign and generated a very high response rate with 33% of recipients opening the email and 17% then clicking through to the microsite.
